Code of Ethical Conduct of NECA Members
- 1. Provide service to students maintaining the normal minimum physical condition of the business.
- 2. Guide and give accurate information to the students regarding the college, course fees, session, deadlines and the financial cost required during the study and living in the particular country and city.
- 3. The service fee should be fully transparent and the members must provide the receipt against the fee paid to the member.
- 4. Must have knowledge regarding living expenses, visa regulations, and other miscellaneous cost of the countries which are promoted by them.
- 5. Not allow to make guarantees like admission guarantee, job guarantee or I20 guarantee, visa guarantee, etc.
- 6. Required to obey the instruction of the association and also required to reply on the matters asked to the members.
- 7. Action of suspension or cancellation may be taken against the members who disobey the code of conduct of the association.
- 8. Not allowed to run nay other programs from their organization other than educational programs of the colleges or universities.
- 9. Allowed to work and promote only with students visas (not work, business, travel, tourist visas).
- 10. Not charge students unreasonably and deliver fake promises.
- 11. Now allowed to provide the discounts in the tuition fees from the commission/incentives paid by the colleges/universities to the students (unless proved and provided by the colleges and universities themselves)
Advertisements of Code of Conduct
- • Not allowed to advertise giving visa guarantee, admission guarantee, job guarantee, 100% visa success rate, 100% visa, visa within ….. Days, offer letter/I20/admission in ….. Days or any misleading information in the advertisement violating the basic norms of the educational consultancy practices.
- • Required to provide the same services and facilities as printed in the advertisements.
- • Not allowed to promote any programs related to business, travel and work.
- • Not allowed to make any misguiding and misleading advertisement to attract students.
- • Allowed to advertise the genuine offers provided by the colleges and universities. (Members may also be asked to provide the proof the offers provided by the colleges and universities by NECA office).
- • Not allowed to advertise the free services provided by the members.
- • Requested to publish professional and properly designed advertisements.
- • Not allowed to use "WORK" in the advertisement titles. Work options if provided by the universities and colleges can be published at the "features column" and must show the paper proof if asked by NECA office.
- • Not allowed to advertise the abroad programs other than the programs of the institutions/colleges and universities.
